Join Catholic Charities of Acadiana in our mission to make a difference in our community! We are seeking a reliable and compassionate individual to join our team as a Food & Nutrition Services Coordinator.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering meals and food supplies to various sites across Acadiana, as well as serving in St.

Joseph Diner, ensuring that those in need receive essential nourishment and support.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver meals and non-perishable food bags to designated sites across Acadiana using company-owned vehicles.
• Pack meal quantities, beverages, utensils, etc., for delivery, maintaining proper temperature and quality.
• Record delivery reports and monitor temperature logs to ensure food safety standards are met.
• Assist in assembling FoodNet bags for distribution.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles.

Job Qualifications :

• Education : High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience : Must be 21 years old or older, possess a valid driver's license, and have an appropriate driving record.
• Detail-oriented and organized with proven ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to load and unload a vehicle and lift at least 30lbs.
• Punctual and reliable, demonstrating a commitment to being on time for every shift.
• Flexible, personable, and team-oriented, willing to collaborate and assist as needed.
• Availability to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.

Job Specifications

• Medium : Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and / or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. 100% of the time
